CROWN RESORT - CALAHONDA

 Set in attractive gardens, this resort offers 2 large outdoor swimming pools including one that is heated. There are many places to enjoy the Spanish sunshine around the pools and on the rooftop sundeck, which offers peace with attractive surroundings.

For the active Club Calahonda has its own tennis and paddle tennis courts which have recently been resurfaced, a fitness area, sauna and a Petanque and Boules court.

Younger guests can enjoy the children’s play area, outdoor toddler pool and the courtesy kids club in the summer months where entertainment and activities are provided for 5-12 year olds. For the older ones there is a games room and Internet access points and for the parents there is babysitting service subject to availability.

When the sun finally goes down, there is the on-site Palm Tree bar and restaurant offering an extensive evening entertainment schedule or for a quieter evening there is the guest lounge.

Club Calahonda consists of 82 apartments, most have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleep up to 6. There are also a few 1 beds (sleep 4) and 3 beds (sleep and 3 apartments that have been specifically adapted for wheelchair users. All the apartments are well equipped for a self-catering holiday and offer the complete and convenient home from home holiday experience. Most apartments have their own private terrace and all have a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and microwave, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, satellite TV, telephone, iron and hairdryer.

The resort recently opened a new reception area that offers a 7-day a week service with a 24-hour reception service and porter service on change over days (Saturdays and Sundays). The professional multi-lingual reception staff also offer left luggage/lockers, safe rental, currency exchange, flight confirmations and taxi, excursion, golf and car hire bookings. Apartments are cleaned and linen is changed midweekly.

Club Calahonda forms part of the Crown Resorts group therefore all Club Calahonda guests gain automatic and complimentary access to all other Crown Resort’s facilities including the Club Marbella spa and leisure centre. A courtesy Crown Resorts bus is provided for all guests and offers an all day and evening schedule to and from all the Crown Resorts, the local area, shops and the beach. To fully appreciate the Costa del Sol and surrounding areas however, a car is recommended and a car park is provided for all guests.

Composée de 82 appartements de 2 chambres/2salles de bains (6 pax), ainsi que de 1 & 3 chambre 8notamment 3 ´pour personne à mobilité réduite avec accès en fauteuil roulant). Tous sont équipés pour passer de bonnes vacances. La plupart dispose de terrasses, et tous ont une cuisine entièrement équipée (machine à laver - Micro-ondes, ....) ains que TV-sat et téléphone.

Housekeeping (excluding kitchens) plus linen and towel changes is mid-week, but additional housekeeping is available at a supplement payable locally. Prices include essential food welcome pack (excluding low season), use of apartment safe, one hour a day use of sports centre, mid-week towel and linen change, cot and high chair hire, Kids Club (summer only), 2 pool towels and 2 bathrobes, rubbish collection and secure underground car parking.
